Skills to Succeed Academy & Employability Tool
Accenture work-readiness programme for learners and students
- Work readiness
- Personal leadership
- Coordination
- Facilitation

Context
Accenture's Skills to Succeed Academy and Employability Tools formed part of a work-readiness programme designed to prepare learners for the world of work. The programme combined digital employability tools and practical learning to develop career awareness, problem-solving, workplace readiness and key employability capabilities.
Mishqah's role
I planned, coordinated and facilitated Skills to Succeed Academy, Accenture IE Tools and personal leadership sessions for RCLs and prefects at Cape Town High School and Business students at College of Cape Town. I integrated work-readiness essentials with topics such as life purpose, self-awareness and personal development, equipping learners with practical tools to understand themselves and prepare for the world of work.
At Cape Town High School, I independently planned, coordinated and hosted the learner graduation during a school assembly, addressing an audience of hundreds, a significant responsibility I took on early in my career.
Evidence & why it matters
The programme gave young people practical exposure to the realities of entering the workplace while encouraging them to think more intentionally about who they are, what they bring and where they want to go. It strengthened their readiness to make informed career decisions and approach employment with greater self-awareness, confidence and understanding of their capabilities.
