The problem

Training can be delivered correctly and still miss the people in the room.

Content can be correct, attendance can be recorded and certificates can be issued while the programme still overlooks what participants know, what barriers they face and what opportunities exist afterwards.

My approach begins with context. I listen before designing, connect learning with realistic next steps and build the delivery systems that help good intentions work in practice.

Who is Mishqah Gous?
Mishqah Gous is a Cape Town based Learning, Skills Development and Community Impact Consultant with more than 10 years of experience across programme design, facilitation, employability, participant recruitment and practical implementation.
What does Mishqah Gous specialise in?
Mishqah specialises in people-centred learning and programme design, youth employability, community skills development, facilitator enablement, programme coordination and playbooks that help effective work become repeatable.
Why does participant context matter in training?
People do not arrive at training as blank pages. Their prior knowledge, confidence, access, responsibilities and realistic opportunities shape whether learning can be used. Understanding that context makes programme choices more relevant and more responsible.
What is Train-the-Trainer?
Train-the-Trainer builds the capability of the people who will deliver a programme. It combines content knowledge, facilitation method, practical resources and guided preparation so quality does not depend on one original programme creator.
