WeCode24 Softskills Development Programme

I contributed to the design and delivery of the soft-skills learning experience, developing engaging names and concepts for games and activities and mapping how each activity stimulated and demonstrated specific soft skills. I also developed learner worksheets and facilitated personal development sessions, challenging learners to reflect on the influences, behaviours and habits shaping their lives and consider how these could be changed to move closer to their goals and aspirations.

I played a key role in translating abstract soft skills into interactive, memorable learning experiences that learners could actively practise and apply.

The programme transformed soft-skills development into an engaging, experiential learning experience where learners could actively practise, demonstrate and reflect on key competencies through play. Intentionally linking each game and activity to specific developmental outcomes, I made abstract skills such as empathy, collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving and personal leadership tangible and observable, while creating resources that supported their application beyond the classroom. This demonstrated my ability to translate developmental concepts into purposeful learning experiences that are engaging, learner-centred and designed to drive meaningful skills development.
