Design learning people can act on
Learning Experience & Curriculum DesignConsultant in Cape Town
Useful learning is not created by adding more information. It is created by deciding what people need to understand, practise and use and then designing a journey that helps them get there. Mishqah Gous offers learning experience design in Cape Town for organisations, NPOs, skills programmes and development partners, covering learner centred curricula, learning journeys, facilitator resources, activities and digital learning content.
In short
Learning experience design structures content, activities, resources and delivery around what learners need to understand, practise and apply. It brings curriculum design together with participant context and delivery reality.
The questions
Learning experience design connectscontent to people
- Who are the learners?
- What do they already know?
- What might prevent participation?
- What should they be able to do?
- What sequence will help them get there?
- What activities make the learning practical?
- What support does the facilitator need?
- How will the programme know whether the experience is working?
A curriculum can be technically accurate and still be difficult to use. These questions are why curriculum design works better when it is planned alongside participant context and delivery reality.
